UPSC Civil Service (Preliminary) Result, 2019
UPSC has announced Civil Service (Preliminary), 2019 Result for Civil Services and Indian Forest Services. The commission has also informed that the marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through CS (P) Examination, 2019 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website i.e. https://upsconline.nic.in only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination, 2019 is over i.e. after the declaration of final result.
Note for those who qualified for Civil Services
All candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019, which will be available on the website of the Union Public Service Commission (https://upsconline.nic.in) during the period from 01/08/2019 (Thursday) to 16/08/2019 (Friday) till 6:00 P.M. All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the DAF-I ONLINE and submit the same ONLINE for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2019 to be held from Friday, the 20/09/2019.
Note for those who qualified for IFoS
All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the DAF-I for IFoS as per the prescribed mode i.e. ONLINE and submit the same ONLINE for admission to the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination, 2019 to be held from Sunday, the 1st December 2019. The DAF-I will be available on the Commission’s website from Tuesday the 3rd September, 2019 to Wednesday the 18th September, 2019 till 06.00 PM.

Pradhan Mantri Shram-Yogi Maandhan (PMSYM) Yojana
- The Government on 15 Feb, 2019 launched a mega pension yojana namely 'Pradhan Mantri Shram-Yogi Maandhan' for the unorganised sector workers with monthly income upto Rs. 15,000. The scheme was announced in the Interim Budget 2019-20.
- The pension scheme shall provide the unorganized workers an assured monthly pension of Rs. 3,000 from the age of 60 years on a monthly contribution of a small affordable amount during their working age.
- An unorganised sector worker joining pension yojana at the age of 29 years will have to contribute only Rs. 100 per month till the age of 60 years.
- A worker joining the pension yojana at 18 years, will have to contribute as little as Rs. 55 per month only.
- A worker joining at the age of 40 will have to contribute Rs.200 till the age of 60. Beneficiaries above the age of 40 are not eligible.
- The Government will deposit equal matching share in the pension account of the worker every month.
- It is expected that at least 10 crore labourers and workers in the unorganised sector will avail the benefit of 'Pradhan Mantri Shram-Yogi Maandhan' within next five years making it one of the largest pension schemes of the world.
- A sum of Rs. 500 crore has been allocated for the Scheme. Additional funds will be provided as needed. The scheme will also be implemented from the current year.
- The beneficiaries of the scheme are the unorganized sector workers such as as street vendors, rickshaw pullers, construction workers, rag pickers, agricultural workers, beedi workers, handloom, leather and in numerous other similar occupations.

Pradhan Mantri KIsan SAmman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Nidhi Scheme or PM-KISAN Yojana was announced in this year's Budget for 2019-20. The schemes envisages for Direct Income Support to the Farmers. Following are the details of the scheme.
- The PM-KISAN Scheme to extend direct income support at the rate of Rs.6000 per year to farmer families.
- Only those beneficiaries are eligible for the scheme who have upto 2 Hectares(5 Acres Appx) Land.
- Under the scheme, Rs.2000 each will be transferred to the bank accounts in three equal instalments.
- The scheme will cover around 12 Crore Small and Marginal Farmer Families.
- The scheme has been made effective from 1st December, 2018 and the first instalment would be paid upto 31st March, 2019.
- The scheme was launched with an outlay of Rs.75000 Crore for the FY 2019-20 and Rs.20000 Crore in the Revised Estimate of FY 2018-19.
